A native Waseca couple, Mr. and Mrs. Emmanuel Wobschall, who had been married 52 years, died within 90 hours of each other at Waseca Memorial hospital this past week. The family was called in Mr. Wobschall's bedside last Wednesday evening because of illness. Early Thursday morning, while some of the family were still present, Mrs. Wobschall suffered a stroke and was taken to Waseca Memorial hospital where she passed away Thursday noon. Upon being notified of his wife's death, Mr. Wobschall suffered a stroke and was taken to the hospital where he died early Monday morning. A complete obituary of Mrs. Wobschall was in Friday's Waseca Herald. She was the former Pauline H. Krueger, born November 9, 1887 in Waseca, the daughter of Herman and Minnie Krueger. Emmanuel E. Wobschall was born June 21, 1883 in St. Mary's township, the son of Friedrich and Bertha Wobschall. He married Pauline Krueger on June 8, 1905 in St. John's American Lutheran church. The Rev. Lochte officiating. Attendants at the wedding were Marie Weber and Erick Wobschall. The Wobschall's farmed in Waseca township until they moved to town in 1941. Survivors include two sons, Lewis and Lyle, both of Waseca; and two daughters, Mrs. Annis (Alma) Evanson, Austin and Mrs. Ted (Marge) Lueck, Waseca. Two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Lang, Owatonna and Mrs. Tillie Lechner, Waseca. Funeral services for Mrs. Wobschall were held Saturday at Pfaff's Funeral Home with burial in Woodville cemetery. Funeral services for Mr. Wobschall were held today (Wednesday) at Pfaff Home for Funerals at 2:30 p. m. Conducting the service was the Rev. M. A. Kampfe. Interment was in Woodville cemetery. Pallbearers were Wallace, Albert, Dana, Percy, Galen and Clarence Wobschall. Out of town people attending the funerals were from Owatonna, Faribault, Rochester, Albert Lea, Austin, Zumbrota, New Richland, Mankato, Janesville, St. Paul, Minneapolis, Waterville, Ellendale and Hope.
