Ray passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at the Comfort House in Pella.

Survivors include his wife, Phyllis; daughters, Cindy Chambers of California, Candy Mullins of Missouri; a grandosn, Grant; brothers, Edward Chambers(Doris)of Oskaloosa, Randle Chambers(Berneil)of Knoxville; sisters, Lila Donohue(Dean)and Jean Vande Kamp(Bill)all of Knoxville; sister-in-law, Betty Cooper of Knoxville; nieces and caretakers, Kristina Wilkins(Mike)and Stacy Ford(Richard)all of Knoxville, along with other nieces, nephews and many friends.

Visitation 6-8 pm 12/22/2011. Knoxville, Bybee & Davis Funeral Home. Service 10:15 am 12/23/2011. Cemetery, Graceland Cemetery. Memorials, The Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation.
