SERVICES FRIDAY FOR MRS. EMMA OLIVER
Mrs. Emma Oliver, age 79, died at her home at 427 Hicks Ave., on Wednesday morning. She was the widow of Albert E. Oliver, former Plainwell business man, who died in January, 1946. She was born April 17, 1868 in Gunplain township, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edmond Farbrother.
She was a member of the Plainwell Baptist church and the Kalamazoo Rebekah lodge, No. 265.
She leaves four step-sons, Fred, Dorr, George and Clarence of Plainwell, one step-daughter, Mrs. Isadore VanDenBerg of Plainwell and eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; several nephews and nieces, including Mrs. Grace Woods who has been with Mrs. Oliver for the past 18 months.
Services will be held at 2 P. M. Friday at the Marshall Funeral Home, Rev. J. Albert Beard officiating, with burial at Hillside cemetery.
