C.W. Anderson, a United Methodist Church minister, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011, at his residence. Celebration of life: Noon Wednesday at McMillan United Methodist Church, 3401 Mountcastle Drive, the Rev. Sylvester Key, pastor, and the Rev. Henry Persley, euolgist. Interment: Cedar Hill Memorial Park. Wake: 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

Survivors: Left with fond memories are his children, Lanetta Ross (John), Clarence Anderson, Caryl Anderson (Alzora), Tina Jenkins (Bobby), Andre' Scott; sisters, Betty Washington, Martha Lister, Carrie Turner; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; dear friend, Dorothy Develrow; and other relatives and friends.
