She was born to Lee and Minnie Vanderburg Evans in Atoka, Oklahoma. She had three sisters, Beth Evans Ward; Zona Evans Tilly and Eula Evans Mayo who preceded her in death. She was married to William H. Armstrong who preceded her in death. She has two sons, Billy Armstrong of Mustang, Okla.and Gary Armstrong of Atoka, Okla. and a daughter, Patricia Gayle Armstrong Sapp of Okla. City, Okla. She has two granddaughters, Pamala Armstrong Tipps and Scarlet Sapp Swails both of the Oklahoma City Metro Area. She has five grandsons: Wilie Armstrong of Mustang, Okla.; Gary Wayne Armstrong of Atoka, Okla.; Jeff Armstrong of Atoka, Okla.; Neal Armstrong of Corinth, Tx. and Darrell Gene Sapp Jr. of Tuttle, Okla. She also is survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and many other relatives. She will be missed by them all and the many, many friends that she had.
