William H. Wulfert

William H. Wulfert, 89, of 117 E. North St., died yesterday afternoon at Sunnyview Home.

Born in Oliveburg, Jefferson County, Sep. 26, 1883, the son of Charles and Adelia Zimmer Wulfert.

He was a member of the Knights of Pythias Lodge of Punxsutawney and the Modern Woodmen of America.

A retired machinist for Western Allegheny Railroad, he was formerly employed, after his retirement, by WISR Radio in Butler.

In Punxsutawney in 1903, he married Myra McGinnis. She died Feb. 26, 1971.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Beatrice Fera, of Silver Springs, Md.; Mrs. Andrew (Helen) Braunns of Punxsutawney; and Mrs. Edward (Maxine) Kinter of Petrolia; a son, Lynn Charles Wulfert, of Chardon, Ohio; 12 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Minnie Shields, in Ohio, and several nieces and nephews.
