He was drafted into the Army in during 1950, during the Korean War, since his previous hitch in the Navy had been less than a year. He served 2 yrs and returned to the GM plant in MI, USA. He became a supervisor and served a total of 35 yrs bef. retiring.
He was a member of St. William Catholic Church. He enjoyed working in his garden.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred Helen Hollingsworth; 4 Daus., Diane Hollingsworth of Tuscaloosa, Darlyn Moore (James) of CA, Denise Rein (Jim) of MI and Dawna Schwab (Charles) of MI; 2 Sons, Ron Hollingsworth of Hazel Green and Greg Hollingsworth of New Orleans; a brother, David Hollingsworth of Sardis; a sister, Neda Lyons of Chattanooga; 13 Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren.
