Yvonne Coleman

SPRINGFIELD — Yvonne May Coleman of Springfield died Dec. 18 of Alzheimer's disease. She was 82. A memorial service is planned for a later date.

She was born Sept. 22, 1929, in Klamath Falls to Ted and Ada McIntyre Munger. She married Doyle Coleman on April 3, 1950, in Eugene. He died Sept. 12, 1982.

She graduated from Springfield High School. She was a homemaker and worked as a school bus driver for the Springfield School District.

Survivors include a son, Doyle Jr. of Cottage Grove; two daughters, Gayla Elliott of Creswell and Roxana Foster of Toutle, Wash.; a sister, Audrey Franklin of Bend; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Burial will be at Springfield Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Springfield Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home. Remembrances to the Disabled American Veterans.
