Bun (Pete) Ferguson, 80, of Paradise died at his home Saturday, May 3.
Ferguson was born February 20, 1906 at Paradise. He married Verna Dean Womack October 15, 1939 at Marietta, Oklahoma. A retired grocer, he was a member of First Christian Church and a mason.
Services were held Sunday at Hawkins Chapel with burial in Paradise cemetery. First Christian pastor Dr. Glenn Routt of Fort Worth officiated.
Pallbearers were Pat Read, Pete Read, Thomas Read, Gus Bridges, Bill Leonard and Tommy Wright.
Surviving are his wife, Dean Ferguson of Paradise; daughter, Clara Ruth Niblett of Paradise; two grandchildren; and a brother, Floyd Ferguson of Paradise.
