He married Wilhelmina Gerhardt on June 24, 1900 in Grey County, Ontario.
They then moved to Carrick Twp; to farm. There they raised 4 children;

3. Edward 1905-2005
4. Lorraine 1907-1995
Around 1918 the family then moved to Kitchener in Waterloo County.
After the death of his wife in 1921 at the age of 42 years, he married for a 2nd time at the age of 61 to a widow named Wilhelmina Rahn-Schaus.
They were married in Grey County in 1931.
Henry passed away at the age of 78 years, 4 months.
He is buried with his 1st wife in St. Peter's Cemetery in Kitchener.
