Sacred to the memory of Wyatt Weathersbee who departed this life on the 10th day of March 1857 in the 68th year of his age leaving an affectionate wife and kind children with numerous friends to mourn his loss, but they mourn not as those that live no hope. He was born in Barnwell in the year 1789 and was baptized at Treadway Church 1825 and was ordained decon of that church 1834, and with faithfulness and tenderness he acted in the decon office for that church until the time of his death. Truly it may be said of him blessed are the dead which died in the Lord from henceforth.
