Author and journalist. He graduated from Harvard University in 1853. He was the founder of the newspaper "The Georgia Weekly" and also wrote articles and serials for national publications. "The Conspirators Of New Orleans," "The McDonalds, or the Ashes of a Southern Home" and "The Confederate Flag on the Ocean" are among some of the books he authored. Several of his writings were made into plays. He wrote articles for Florida Star while homesteading in Merrit Island Florida.
