Mrs. Archie O. Taubert, 92, formerly of 912 St. Clair St., Manitowoc, died
Wednesday noon at Parkview Manor Nursing Home, Green Bay.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home,
Manitowoc. The Rev. Gervase J. Zanotti will officiate and burial will be in
Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. Taubert, nee Luella A. Smith, was born June 8, 1879, at Bradford, Pa.,
daughter of the late Franklin and Amelia Dyke Smith. She was married to
Archie O. Taubert June 14, 1906, at Ionia, Mich. He preceded her in death in
1957. They resided in Manitowoc. She was a member of the Women's Society of
First Presbyterian Church and North Side Relief Society, Manitowoc.
Survivors include a son, Douglas, of Green Bay and two granddaughters.

Friends may call at the funeral home, Ninth Street entrance, from 7 to
9 o'clock this Thursday evening until time of service Friday morning.

Marriage of Archie/Luella Taubert
From the Files of the Pilot - Twenty-Five Years ago - 1906
At the Methodist Church at Iona, Mich., in the groom's former home, Archie O. Taubert and Miss Luella Smith of Alpena, Mich., were united in marriage last Thursday afternoon, Rev. James tying the nuptial knot, Miss Thea Zank acted as maid of honor. The ceremony over, a reception was held at the home of the groom's parents. After the reception the couple left on a bridal trip to the Soo. On their return they will take up their residence in this city, where the groom is proprietor of the billiard and pool parlors on Quay Street. Mr. Taubert has been a resident of this city since 1900. He is a popular young man and his many friends will tender hearty congratulations and well wishes to him and his bride.
