The subject of this sketch, Mrs. Nancy J. Butler, widow of the late Simon C. Butler, died at her home in Pawnee City on Wednesday morning; Dec. 27, 1905, at the advanced age of 76 years, 11 months and 7 days. Mrs. Butler is left by one son, John Butler, and one daughter, Mrs. Scott Lyons, both of Pawnee City, and is mourned by them as well as by numerous other relatives and a host of friends. The obsequies were held yesterday at 10 o'clock, a. m., and the remains were laid to rest in the Pawnee City cemetery.
