Ann Louise Kirkham Woodbury, 91, of Oxford, PA passed away Wednesday, December 14th at her home in Ware Presbyterian Village.

She was the wife of the late Horace Page Woodbury with whom she shared sixty nine years of marriage.

Ann was born in New York City, NY on August 18th, 1920. She was the daughter of the late Phillip Leffingwell and Alice DeLisle Kirkham.

Born in New York City, NY she also resided in Greenwich, Darien, New Cannaan, CT, Pittsburg, Valley Forge, West Chester and Oxford, PA.

Ann graduated from the Greenwich High School and attended St. Lawrence University, Canton, NY where she was a member of Phi Beta Phi Sorority.

She was a member of Fullamore Bible studies, New Canaan Congregational Church, as well as the Garden Club and Bridge Club of Pittsburg, Valley Forge, and West Chester. She sponsored Save the Children, Children's Miracle Network and the American Cancer Society, volunteered at the Chester County Hospital, West Chester and the Penhurst Hospital for the Mentally Handicapped in Bridgeport, PA.

She loved flowers, spending summer in Boothbay Harbor, MA, and wintered in St. Augustine, FL. Most important were her primary loves; caring for her late husband Page, raising her children, enjoying her great and great-great-grandchildren and being a patient listener to all.

She is survived by two sons, Page K. Woodbury of Emmaus, PA and Thomas P. Woodbury of Shawnee Mission, KS; one daughter, Elizabeth W. Miller of Greenville, SC; seven grandchildren, Kira W. Johnson, Page K. Woodbury, Jr., Thomas P. Woodbury, II, Brent G. Woodbury, Rebecca E. Miller, Caitlin P. Miller and Elizabeth A. Miller; five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Joan W. Knight of Clearwater, FL.

She was preceded in death by her husband who passed away on November 29, 2011, and a grandchild, Allyson A. Woodbury.

A memorial service for Mr. and Mrs. Woodbury will be held at 2 pm Friday, Jan. 6, 2012 at the Oxford Presbyterian Church, 6 Pine St. Oxford, PA.

Interment will be private.
