He was born Oct. 25, 1991, at Methodist Hospital in Peoria to Ervin and Dawn (Medearis) Robbins.
He was a 2010 graduate of Henry-Senachwine High School. He was employed as a farm hand with his father and also worked with Olson Construction of Henry. He was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are his parents, Ervin (Jennifer) Robbins and Dawn (Tim) Wilkinson of Henry; his maternal grandparents, Lawrence and Mary Medearis of Henry; his paternal grandfather, John Robbins of Henry; one brother, Hunter Robbins of Henry; three sisters, Stefanie Robbins of Henry, Amanda LeQuia of Lacon and Cassie Sharp of Morrison; three stepsisters, Samantha Killen and Jordan Killen, both of Putnam, and Kanishia Wilkinson of Henry; one stepbrother, Trent Wilkinson of Henry; his uncle Silver and cousin Bill Buser; and his longtime girlfriend, Lori Privratsky of Henry.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Betty Robbins.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday a the Calvert & Johnson Memorial Home, 513 Carroll St., Henry, with Pastor Ron Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the Henry Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the memorial home.
Memorials may be directed to the Derek L. Robbins Memorial Fund in care of the Henry State Bank.
