Richard Horrocks, age 74, passed away May 1, 1993 in Sandy.
Born August 28, 1918 in Salt Lake to Joseph Herbert and Myrtle Peterson Horrocks. Married Irmgard Buchhorn June 26, 1942 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Served a mission in Munich, Germany (1985-1987) with his wife. Served in World War II from 1942 to 1949.
He is survived by his wife of Sandy; his sons and daughters; 29 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Rulon Horrocks of Salt Lake.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 4, 1993, 12 noon, at the Union 11th Ward, 1433 East Old Mission Ward (7935 South), Sandy. Friends may call at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and at the ward one hour prior to services. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
