Services for Mrs. Thelma Pierce, 57, 724 'I'wentv-fourth St., who died Monday at Iowa Methodist Hospital of a heart ailment following a long illness, will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Hamilton's Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial

Mrs. Pierce, born in Leon, lived in Des Moines 27 years. She was a member of the West Madison Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband Charles; a son, Charles B., of Canoga Park, Calif.; a daughter, Charlene- of Des Moines; two sisters, Mrs. Doris Dewees of Corning and Mrs. Edna Stoneburner of Dallas, Ore.; a brother, Raymond Marvin of Dallas, Ore., and five grandchildren.
