The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Piddock funeral home, with Rev. J. David Wolcott, pastor of the Methodist church, officiating. Burial will be in Rural cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home, Tuesday from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
Surviving her besides her husband are a son, Richard, Adams; a sister, Mrs. Harold (Anna) Lathrop, North Syracuse; three brothers, Leo and Elmer Esseltine, Adams and two grandchildren.
Mrs. Patchen was born in Lorraine, Dec. 22, 1908, a daughter of William L. and Clorinda Hull Esseltine. She was graduated from Adams High school and was married to Almond C. Patchen Nov. 3, 1927, in Watertown, by Rev. Edgar O. Spaven. She was employed by W. S. Rice, Inc., 35 years.
Mrs. Patchen was a member of the American Legion auxiliary and the rural Home Bureau.
