"Together with Parents"
On December 11, 2011, David Todd Higgs, our loving brother, left this world to be with his parents. Dave was born February 2, 1963 in Salt Lake City, Utah .
Dave's life has been a struggle of mental illness and disabilities but he had a big heart. Dave had an unconditional love for all animals. He was the most thoughtful and giving person to know and always had a gift for everyone.
Dave loved his family and extended family dearly. He always looked forward to "roasting marshmallows" and going out to family dinners.
Dave was preceded in death by his mother, Karen Butson Higgs, his father, Edward Wilford Higgs, his grandmother, Elsie Jones Higgs and his grandfather, Thomas Higgs.
Dave is survived by his siblings; Layne, Kenny, Karan, Bryce, Christine, Mark, his nieces and nephew; Ashley, Kelsey, and Jason.
In addition the family gives special thanks to the doctors and staff at Weber Mental Health and Mountain View Mental Health, and all our dearest friends and extended family members.
At the family's request, services will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. at Leavitt's Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden.
Entombment Leavitt's Mausoleum.
