Heather Sue Porter, 17, of Sycamore died Friday of an unknown illness in Rockford Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Oak Park, Illinois and spent most of her childhood in West Chicago, St. Charles and Sycamore.
She was a senior at Sycamore High School.
Survivors include her parents, Linda Elliott and Norman Porter;
three sisters and a brother.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church, 2325 N. 1st St., DeKalb.
