LINDA ANN FRANKLIN MAPP HUMPHRIES Riser Funeral Home Olla, LA Services for Linda Ann Franklin Mapp Humphries, age 50 of Jena will be held at 2:00PM, Friday, January 5, 2007 from the Standard Baptist Church in Olla with Rev. Scotty McDowell officiating. Interment will follow in the Chickasaw Cemetery east of Olla.

Mrs. Humphries was born in Olla on January 3, 1957 to the union of Vanner James and Doris Hamilton Franklin and died Tuesday, January 2, 2007 in Jena from injuries received in an automobile accident. She was a private sitter. She was a caring and loving person who helped any one in need. Her family was her life.

Survivors include her husband of six weeks, whom she loved: Michael Ray Humphries of Jena, her mother: Doris Hamilton Franklin of Olla, her sons: Daniel Justin Mapp of Olla, Michael Jacob Mapp and his wife: Melissa of Olla and Joshua David Mapp and his wife: Nikki of Shreveport, her step-son: Anthony Humphries of Whitehall, her grandchildren: Alexis Mapp, Shane Mapp and Anakan Mapp, her sisters: Ruby Moody and her husband: William of Olla, Ellen Smith and her husband: Roy of Olla and Juanita "Nina" Bailey of Dallas, TX

Pallbearers will be Timmy Duke, Michael Duke, William Moody, Roy Smith, Bert Veillion and Jamie Williamson. Honorary pallbearers are Roy Smith, Sr., Albert Ford, Jr. and Woodie Ford. Visitation will be at the church until services.
