EVANS, Patrick J. age 84 of Dayton, passed away Saturday, November 20, 2010 at his home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lil, in 1998 and his parents, George and Mary Evans. He is survived by two daughters: Mary Susan and husband Michael Deis of Beavercreek and Patricia and Kim Shurts of Kettering. Four sons also survive him: Timothy M. and wife Cheri Evans of Lebanon, Terry Evans of Dayton, James and wife Angie Evans of Dayton and John Evans of Dayton. He is survived by his grandchildren: Greg, Elizabeth, Katie, Michael, Robby, Timmy, Jeremy, Patrick, Misty, Jennifer, Jamie, Kevin, Linzie and Jacob and seven great-grandchildren. Patrick was a US Navy Veteran of World War II and served as the Athletic Director of Immaculate Conception Church, where he was a member, for many years, as well as being a small business owner. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church, 2300 S. Smithville Rd. on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 10:30 AM. Friends may call on the family at the church one hour prior to the Mass on Wednesday. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association in Patricks memory.
