M. J.'s tombstone is down, but unbroken. It is partially buried and has fire ants around it. To the right of this photo is the back fence. To the left there is a footstone, also down, with the initials "M. J. C.", at the base of the tombstone of Mary E. Cleveland. M. J.'s mother's name or initials are not on the tombstone.

Inscription: "M. J. Dau. of / Geo. W. / Cleveland / Born / Aug. 3, 1877 / Died Sept. 6, 1877".
There does not appear to be any epitaph on the stone.
The fire ants are bad here.

This photo shows the tombstone of Mary E. Cleveland. Just visible at its foot is a footstone that bears the initials "M. J. C.".

The initials "M. J. C." appear on this footstone, which is presently at the base of the tombstone of Mary E. Cleveland and not far from that of M. J. Cleveland.

The grave of M. J. is to the right, middle back, in this picture. The back fence is just out of sight to the right of this photo. The blue-chalked stone marks the grave of Mary E. Cleveland.
