Motion Picture and Stage Actor. Son of actors Jaime Rivelles and Amparo Guillem, was born in El Cabanyal (Valencia). He debuted on stage in Eslava Theatre in Valencia and in Cinema with the film "Prueba Trágica" (1914). He worked in Hollywood and Paris in 1930, but developed all his career in Spain. On stage he founded his own company with his first wife, the actress María Fernanda Ladrón de Guevara and was the director of Lara Theatre in Madrid. Among other films, he appeared in "La Mujer X" (1931), "Niebla" (1932), "Don Quijote de La Mancha" (1947), "Marcelino, Pan y Vino" (1954) and "El Greco" (1966). He was the father of actress Amparo Rivelles.
