CLINTON — Juanita Ruth Reed, 82, of Clinton, and formerly of Rockville, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2011, at Manor Care Summer Trace in Carmel. She was born on Nov. 5, 1928, in Indianapolis, to James L. and Gladys N. (Merriman) Fritch. She married James L. Reed in Indianapolis July 9, 1949, and he preceded her in death on Feb 9, 2009 . Juanita was a member of the Montezuma Christian Church and the Eastern Star. She also attended the Coloma Friends Church. She enjoyed crafting, reading and jigsaw puzzles, and listening to music.

Juanita is survived by her children, Roger Reed and his wife Laura of Chattanooga, TN., Randy Reed Sr. and his wife Sharon of Rockville, and Rhonda Buress and her husband Joe of Lyford; a daughter-in-law, Jo Anna Bales of Clinton; grandchildren, Randy Reed Jr. of Rockville, Jonathan Reed and wife Angie of Bainbridge, Andrew Reed of Denver, Elizabeth Megan Reed of Greenwood, Jeffrey Reed and wife Alisha of Clinton, Andrea Reed of Anderson, and Daniel Reed of Clinton, step-grandchildren Robin Attkisson and husband Bobby of Avon, Michael Rennick and wife Theresa of Clinton; sister, Rosemary Frye of Greenwood; brother, Emerson Fritch of North Carolina; an honorary son, Mike Cox and his wife Jenny; 18 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Harley.

Juanita was preceded in death by her parents; husband; infant daughter, Robin Rene' Reed; son, Ross 'Alan' Reed; brothers, George, Lester, and Ronnie Fritch; and sisters, Violet Fritch and Betty Michaels.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 21, 2011, from 1 to 4 p.m., with services at 4:00 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home, 7500 N. Clinton St. with Pastor Donna Hardesty officiating. Cremation was chosen with burial at a later date in Roselawn Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to the Mecca Wesleyan Church in Juanita's name.
