Mrs. Anna Florence Kennedy, wife of Samuel Kennedy, of Plainfield, died yesterday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Brown, Plainfield. She was 85 years old and was a member of the Home Department of the Church of God Sunday School.

She was a daughter of the late John and Susan Myers Rhoads. Besides her husband she is also survived by these children, S.H. Kennedy, of Chambersburg; A. Hays Kennedy, of Newville, Ralph R. Kennedy, Mechanicsburg, R.D., Robert Reed Kennedy, of Greason; Mrs. L.M. Bear (sic), of Camp Hill; Mrs. Lee Bear (sic) and Mrs. A.L. Scott, both of Carlisle; Joseph B. Kennedy, Carlisle, R.D..; William D. Kennedy, of Shiremanstown; Mrs. John Brown, Plainfield; 38 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Wednesday morning at 10:30 o'clock from the home of her daughter in Plainfield, with burial in the Bethel Cemetery, Plainfield. Rev. H.P. Johns will officiate. Friends may call tomorrow evening at the Brown home.
