Betty Smith Allen Muir, 73, of Alexandria, Va., died Friday in Arlington, Va. She was born in Springfield, the daughter of Bessie and Thomas Smith. She attended Monticello Seminary and the House in the Pine. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church. Surviving are one brother, Thomas C. Smith Jr. of Springfield. Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Oak Ridge Cemetery, with the Very Rev. Hobart Hiestand officiating.

Any info re: child and second marriage welcome. Also anything of Thomas Cummings Smith line. jth
