Mrs. Isaac Stratton Succumbs In Hospital
Mrs. Minnie L. Stratton, 70, of 519 Grant Street, widow of Isaac L. Stratton, died at 10 o'clock this morning in Ephraim McDowell Memorial Hospital after an illness of about two years. Born Sept. 8, 1895, in Perryville, she had lived in Boyle County her entire life and was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church of West Danville. She is survived by her mother. Mrs. J. P. Critchfield, Danville; a daughter, Mrs. Karl Davis, Danville, wife of a member of the Danville City Council; two sons E. G. Stratton. Danville, and I. L. Stratton Jr., Lancaster: two brothers, Morris Critchfield. Danville, and Amos Critchfield Lexington; a sister, Mrs. Robert Brewsaugh, Danville; four granddaughters and one great-granddaughter. Arrangements for funeral and burial are incomplete; however, interment will take place in Bellevue Cemetery. The body is at Stith Funeral Home here.
