MULLINS - Cecil Barden Buffkin, 59, a retired farmer and businessman, died Sunday at a Myrtle Beach hospital.
The funeral will be 5 p.m. Tuesday at Meares Funeral Chapel with burial in Cedardale Cemetery.
Mr. Buffkin was born in Horry County, a son of the late Arch B. Buffkin and Mrs. Julia Page Buffkin. He was a Mason and a Shriner.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Clifton Collins of Mullins and Mrs. Carl Todd of Nichols; three brothers, Rudolph Buffkin of Heath Springs, Odell Buffkin of Fair Bluff, NC and A. B. Buffkin Jr. of Mullins; three sisters, Mrs. R. C. Johnston and Mrs. Vera Rainwater, both of Florence, and Mrs. Elma Reilley of Clearwater, Fla.; and 6 grandchildren.
