Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Leus, 82, were held from the Friedens Evangelical church of Beasley Friday July 10, at 4:00 p. m., with Rev. Don Grunwald officiating.

Mrs. Leus died in a local hospital last Thursday following a long illness. She was born Emma Walker, May 17, 1871 in Washington county, Texas. There she lived until her marriage to J. H. Henrichsen in 1888. The Henrichsen family moved to Fort Bend county in 1902, and Mr. Henrichsen died December 21, 1916. In 1927 she married William Leus of Needville. He passed away in 1942.

Mrs. Leus was a charter member of the Immanuel Evangelical Church in Needville. She moved he membership to the Beasley Church in 1944.

She is survived by seven sons, Henry Henrichsen of Brenham, A. W. Henrichsen of Rosenberg, Will Henrichsen of Temple, Fred Henrichsen of El Campo, Louis Henrichsen of Rosenberg, Ben Henrichsen of Temple; three daughers, Mrs. Louis Hafer of Rosenberg, Mrs. Fritz Hafer of Beasley, and Mrs. Herbert Rosenbaum of Hungerford; 28 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Laura Schultz of Beasley, and a niece, Mrs. A. Lebernz of Waco.

Pallbearers were six of her grandsons. Garmany-Heartfield directed.
