weather reconnaissance mission.
The other airmen killed were:
1st Lt. Clarence R Stephenson, Pilot
2nd Lt. Joseph Ward, Co-Pilot
SSgt. Leonard L Licursi, Ball Turret Gunner
TSgt. Earl H Westerholm, Engineer-Top Turret Gunner.
Three crew members survived the crash.

Funeral Saturday, July 17, at 10:30 a.m., funeral from chapel, 1810 W. 18th street, to St. Anne's church. Interment Resurrection cemetery. Military honors by Woodrow Wilson post, No. 3, American Legion.
