Mrs. Eleanor Brown, the aged mother of Charley Brown, a well-known democratic worker of the McKinney section, died at her home near Geneva, below McKinney and was buried in the old Yocum graveyard, where all her family are interred. The deceased was 77 years of age, and was the widow of Willard Brown, who died 39 years ago. She was a life long member of the Baptist church. Four children survive, Mrs. Mealy Austin, Charley, Josh and Gabe Brown.
