AUDREY M. ABSHIRE
Audrey M. Abshire, age 74, passed away Friday, Dec. 8, 2006. She was born Dec. 5, 1932 in China, Texas to the late Horace J. and Viney Marie Richard Beaugh. She was a retired secretary with the Calhoun County School District. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters, Altar Society and Acts Retreat.
She is survived by her husband, Revis J. Abshire of Victora; daughter, Tambra and son-in-law, Mike Walton of Victoria; granddaughter, Tarrah Michelle Walton; and brothers, Allan Beaugh and Larry Beaugh, both of Winnie.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mary Alice Duhon; and brother, Rufus Beaugh.
She loved to play cards, bowl and dance, and was a great cook. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother, and more than anything, she loved being a Maw-Maw to her granddaughter, Tarrah. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are George Wenzel, Mike Bludau, Kenneth Bludau, Paul Vessley, Hardy McCollough and Monroe Rieger. Honorary pallbearer is Stan Friedel.
