EARNEST DICE

Earnest Dice, 88, Blackburn, Mo., died Sept. 17, 1993, at a hospital in Marshall, Mo.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Open Door Baptist Church, Marshall; burial in the Blackburn Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the Berg Chapel, Blackburn. The family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society.

Mr. Dice was born in Cameron, Mo., and lived in Concordia and Odessa in Missouri before he moved to Blackburn in 1957. He worked in the foster grandparents' program of the Marshall Habilitation Center for 20 years. He graduated from the University of Missouri Dairy School, Columbia, in 1928. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Waverly, Mo.

Survivors include his wife, Pauline Dice of the home; four sons, Earnest Eugene Dice, Blackburn, James Lee Dice, Emma, Mo., and John David Dice and Jerry Van Dice of Marshall; a daughter, Paula Blumhorst, Gas City, Ind.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
