Daughter of Macy Monroe Williams and Violet A. Marcrum. Sallie married Elijah Lafate Poe 11 November 1888 in Indian Territory. They lived in Yell County, Arkansas where he died in 1912. Sallie was briefly married to Jeremiah Sheppard in 1918. She was very unhappy and sent a message to her sons "come and get me" , they did and she left....
