SCHELL, Edwin Joseph - Passed away at the Royal Terrace, Palmerston, on Saturday, May 9, 2009.

Edwin (Ed) Schell, in his 80th year, was the dear father of Marie Karn, Angela Lawrence, Christina Jacobson, Leonard Schell and George Schell.

He is fondly remembered by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Ed is survived by one brother, Arthur; and by three sisters, Eileen, Marie and Madeline. He was predeceased by a brother, Leo.

Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, on Wednesday, May 13, 2009 (today) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

A Vigil for Ed will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will take place at St. Joseph's Church, 409 Paisley Rd., Guelph, on Thursday, May 14, 2009 at 10 a.m.

Interment, St. Boniface Cemetery, Maryhill. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home 519-822-4731 or send condolences at www.gilbertmacintyreandson.com).
