ELKTON – JONATHAN ADAM WELSH, 23, of Elkton died the evening of Monday, December 12, 2011, following an automobile accident on Dyke Road near Lake Tomahawk.
Born January 17, 1988, in East Liverpool, a son of Michael P. and Donna Cochran Welsh of Elkton, he was a lifelong area resident.
He was a 2006 graduate of Beaver Local High School, and he enjoyed hunting and motorcycles.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Jacob Welsh of Jacksonville, N.C., and a nephew, Landon Welsh of Calcutta.
Also surviving are a maternal grandfather, James E. Cochran of Wellsville; paternal grandparents, Harry and Margie Crowl of East Palestine; paternal grandparents, Paul and Norma Welsh of Lisbon; three aunts, Lisa Elliott, Lisa Thompson and Becky Barnes and her husband, Shawn; and four uncles, Kevin Welsh and his wife, Shannon; Jim Cochran and his wife, Lisa; John Cochran; and David Cochran and his wife, Sue.
There are also many cousins surviving.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Patricia Cochran.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Dawson Funeral Home, where friends and family may visit from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.
Burial is to be in Columbiana County Memorial Park
