Lola Anita Stewart
Lola Anita Stewart, 84, of Bluejacket died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2007, at Craig General Hospital in Vinita after a sudden illness.
Mrs. Stewart was born Sept. 1, 1923, in Picher to Loynel Oliver and Nannie Elizabeth (Holeman) Wells.
She lived in Albuquerque, N.M., for more than 30 years before moving to the Bluejacket area where she lived for 19 years.
She was an art dealer in Albuquerque and worked as district manager of department stores in Kansas City, Mo.
She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Miami.
She was married to Ralph B. Stewart. He preceded her in death on June 3, 1991.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Jack Wells.
Survivors include two sons and their wives, Loynel C. and Kathleen Humble of Tuscaloosa, Ala., and Rick and Lille Thayer of Texas and their two grandsons, and four grandchildren and their families, Stoney Humble of Bluejacket, Stan Humble of Quapaw, Stacey Humble of Afton and Missy Masterson of Oklahoma City.
Services will be 2 p.m. today at Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens, east of Miami.
Arrangements are under the direction of Thomas Funeral Home of Welch.
