Abijah B. Combs was the son of Crusoe Combs and Nancy Maggard. He served as sheriff of Perry County 1914-1918. At age 21. Abijah was married to Olivia 'Ollie' Baker, daughter of James Monroe Baker and Judith 'Jude' Cornett. The A.B. Combs elementary School in Combs, Ky. is named for Abijah Combs. Abijah and Ollie were married for 52 years. They had the following children:
