Clyde Monroe Shores, 88, of Havana, FL, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Shores was born February 7, 1923 in Grady County, GA, the son of late Marvin Shores and late Lotchie Dickson Shores. He was an U.S. Army veteran. He was an over the road truck driver. He enjoyed fishing (the river) and gardening.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Florie Vickers Shores of Havana; three daughters, Connie Barrett of Havana, Clide Kay Ware (Alan) of Havana and Vickie Laing (David) of Tallahassee. Three sisters, Geraldine Rowe of Buford, SC, Bobbie Zaleshi (Chuck) of Erie PA, and Frances Fulgham (Hubert) of Thomasville, GA; and one brother Anderson Shores (Alma) of Thomasville, GA. Six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and one great great grandson.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Charles Shore; and a sister, Doris Shores Story.
