Funeral services for James T. King, 81, of Conroe will be held at Metcalf Guardian Chapel at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 26, 1986, with the Rev. Jay McCurry officiating. Burial will be in Conroe Memorial Park.

Mr. King was born Dec 1, 1904 in the state of Texas and passed away April 24, 1986 in Conroe. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church, charter member of Texas Barbers Association, being selected "Barber of the year," also served as secretary for a number of years. Survivors: wife, Annie M. King of Conroe; daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara A. and Ray Blair of Lovelady, Lorene and Jack Hinton of Stafford, son, Bill Beard of Conroe; two sisters, Nerve Cone of Victoria and Willie Reeves of Westfield; brother Louis King of Corpus Christi; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren also survive.

Pallbearers: Carlton Smith, Dwain Read, John Dalton, Ronnie Dawson, Lee Walding, and Jerry Smith.
