Age 47 of Galena, MD, died December 6, 2011 in Chester River Hospital, Chestertown, MD.
Lisa was born on September 14, 1964, daughter of Donald and Winifred DeMond Newnam. She was raised in Galena and was a 1982 graduate of Broadmeadow School. Lisa was a talented writer and very artistic. She had worked as a cosmetologist and waitress but loved being an antique hobbyist. She had owned and operated antiques shops in Galena and Millington.
She was preceded in death by her father, Donald S. Newnam. Lisa is survived by her son, Anthony Spray, IT2(SW) USN and his wife Michelle, stationed in Naples, Italy and her mother Winnie DeMond Newnam of Galena.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 13, from 6-8 pm in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena, MD, where funeral service will be held on Wednesday, at 11am. Burial in Galena Cemetery.
