Diane Jacqueline Geyer, 54, Minot, died Monday, April 7, 2008 in Minot.

Diane was born on August 28, 1953, in Minot, the daughter of Henry and Violet (Picken) Geyer. She was reared and educated in Minot and graduated from Minot High School in 1971. Diane attended Minot State College for one year.

Diane joined the United States Navy on May 24, 1973, serving as a chief petty officer for over 20 years. She was awarded five Good Conduct Medals, two National Defense Service Medals, two Navy Achievement Medals, a Navy Commendation Medal and the Vietnam Campaign Medal. Diane was honorably discharged on November 30, 1993. After her discharge Diane moved to Minot.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Minot.

Survivors: mother, Vi Eidsness, Minot; brothers, Michael Geyer, Minot, and Mark Bohan, Laurel, MT; sister, Vicki Reile, Minot and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Henry and step-father, Tom Eidsness.

Memorial Service: Monday, April 14, 2008, at 10 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, Minot.

Friends may sign a register book on Sunday, April 13, 2008 from Noon until 5 p.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
