George Bartlett, a former resident of this county and brother of Thomas Bartlett, died at his home in Brayton, Iowa, of pneumonia, induced by la grippe, Jan. 28, 1892, at the age of 69 years, 7 months and 12 days. He was born June 16, 1822 in Henry County, Va., and moved to this county with the famliy in 1830 and remained here until 1870 when he moved to Missouri and thence to Iowa, where he has since resided. He leaves a wife and two sons, the youngest one thirteen years old, and a host of friends and relatives, both at his home and here, to mourn his loss..
