Wanda Lee Sampson, 65 formerly of Watertown went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 7, 2011. She passed away peacefully in her daughter's arms with family by her side. She was born December 25, 1945 in Lodi, Ohio to Jesse Crawford and Mary Archer Troxell. She is survived by her mother; 9 brothers and sisters, Carol Yannayon, Nora Wolford, Diane Lambert, Jim Lonsbury, Doug Lonsbury, George Crawford, Claudia Crawford, Debbie Crawford and Cathy Crawford. She married Harold "Dickie" Sampson February 14, 1969. She was blessed with 5 children, Bill Barker of Burbank, Ohio, Jeff (Darla) Barker of Watertown, Daniel (Lola) Sampson of Lowell, Shane (Brenda) Sampson of Fleming, Teri (Mike) Sutton of Williamstown, WV; 2 stepsons, Troy (Melisa) Sampson of Ashland, KY and Michael Sampson of Westerville, Ohio; She was greatly blessed by 17 grandchildren, Beth (Scott) DeRhodes, Morgan Barker, Cortney Barker, Kim Barker, Cody Stalnaker, Colton Sampson, Kelsey Sampson, Skylan Sampson, Cory Sampson, Danielle Sampson, Troy Sampson II, Tyler Sampson, Taylor Sampson, Tiffany Sampson, Alana Martin, Kyler Sutton and Kole Sutton; She was also blessed with 2 great grandchildren, Austin DeRhodes and Ashlyn DeRhodes. Wanda enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow up and loved her children very much. She was preceded in death by her father, Jesse Crawford; stepfather, Ralph Troxell; sister, Cindy Raygali ; and a son in law Joey Martin. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 10, 2011 at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly with Pastor Wesley Vernatter officiating. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday.
