Brian Arthur Harrington passed away at home. He was the husband of Laurie Harrington; the son-in-law of Jim and Dana Glossbrenner and Carolyn Glossbrenner; the brother-in-law of Kim and Mark McCauley of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and the grandson-in-law of Willie Lee Everett of Menard.

Brian's childhood years were spent in Detroit and during his teens his family's military travels took him to Germany. He studied philosophy at Northeastern Missouri State University, now Truman University. After moving to California, Brian built a business making custom wood veneers and hand-crafted artisan furniture. He later entered the computer software industry in California and moved to Texas where he worked at McAfee in Plano. His most recent position was director of sales for Microsoft programs at Invenio, dividing his time between Dallas and Austin.

On April 2, 2005, Brian married Laurie Alain Glossbrenner, who incidentally had hired him at McAfee. They resided in Dallas and then at their home in Frisco, both pursuing their careers in software sales.

He is survived by his wife, his mother & stepfather a sister and two brothers.
