She was born May 7, 1948 in Jonesville, Va., a daughter of the late Albin and Emily Kinder Rigsby.
She lived most of her life in the Salineville area.
Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Ernest Norton, at home; five daughters, Barbara Bates of Salem, Lola (William) Javens of Hammondsville, Jennifer (Matthew) Shamp of Salem, Samantha (Michael Mitchell) Kaiser of Kingsport, Tenn., and Frankie (Kriska) Evans of Morgantown, N.C.; one son, Ernest Clark (Jessica) Norton of Green Cove Springs, Fla.; two sisters , Patricia (Roger) Kreps of Lisbon, Gladys (Paul) Davis of Salineville; 19 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Kerr-Pastore Funeral Home in Salineville with Pastor Pat Smith of the Salineville United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery.
