MULLINS - Mrs Louisa R. Collins, an aged lady who has resided many years in the home of her granddaughter, Mrs John Wilcox, died today at Mullins while on a visit to her sick daughter, Mrs Smith. Mrs Collins, whose maiden name was Dever, was a native of Texas, and was a lady of high character, developed and fortified by the perils of the Texas revolution in which her father took an active part.
She married Mr. Sidney E. Collins, who was born in Alabama, and removed with his family to this county shortly after the war. He died upwards of 12 years ago.
