HANCOCK - John Edward Flowers, 81, died yesterday at his home on RD l after an illness of several years. Born in Fulton County, Pa., he was a son of the late William and Rachel (Dick) Flowers. Mr. Flowers was a retired farmer.
Surviving, besides his widow, Jennie (Brady) Flowers are three sons, William, Amos and James Flowers, all of here; three daughters, Mrs. Mary McCusker and Mrs. Lucy Mann, both of Hancock, and Mrs. Ina Shives, Hagerstown; 26 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
The body will be at the Grove Funeral Home here after 7 p. m. today. Services will be conducted there Friday at 2 p. m. by Rev. Michael Horst and Rev. M. C. Quitty. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet
Presbyterian Cemetery.
